Looking to buy a new shaver in the near future? Not sure which model to select or what brand has the best reputation in the industry? Well, look no further than this Norelco 7810 shaver! Men who have switched over from disposable razors to electric already know the advantages it brings. The instance of ingrown hairs is greatly reduced and sensitive skin does not suffer from the ravages of razor burn.
The Philips Norelco 7810XL Men's Shaving System is of the few razors that uses both holes and slots in its floating heads to trim both stubble and long hair. Behind the three individually floating heads is the lift and cut technology that enables the hair to be cut below the skin. The Reflex Action System enables the razor to shave close even in the curves of the neck and face so that even the shortest of stubble is removed.
There are numerous good pints to this shaver. Besides being very comfortable to hold and maneuver around the face it just plain gives a great shave! On top of a good shave it is a fairly quiet shaver as compared to other units on the market today. The Norelco 7810 eliminates the hassle of cleaning that normally comes with owning an electric razor. The unit is water resistant so cleanup simply requires a rinse under the faucet. Three floating heads equipped with both slots and holes results in more hair removed on each pass versus a foil razor. As a side benefit users will notice less skin irritation.
There are no visual cues to signal that the unit is losing its charge. Since it runs so quietly when the charge is totally depleted it could be a surprise during mid-shave. This could be a problem if you are rushed in the morning and you run out of juice mid-shave! Individuals who do a lot of traveling will find it inconvenient that the unit does not come with a travel case. Not a real concern for me, but for travelers this could be a big problem. For some reason Norelco has decided not to include a charging base with the Norelco 7810. It would've been nice to be able to have a base for nighttime charging. This could be something that Norelco takes a look at for future enhancements to this particular shaver.
Should you invest in this particular shaver? We think that at the very least you should give it a test drive and see what you think. The Norelco 7810 is a good electric razor for the price and most consumers will be very happy with the results they receive. The ease of cleaning coupled with the long battery life make it a wise choice as a replacement for your current electric or disposable razor.
