Folks head to Las Vegas theaters to be transported by art. With so many outstanding places it's no surprise that entertainment is a huge industry and so the city invests heavily so as to continue to draw in audiences.

Theater for the Performing Arts at Planet Hollywood

In Vegas the Strip is a major attraction in itself and it is host to a numerous number of theater locations. One of the best is found at the Planet Hollywood casino and hotel. This versatile concert hall can seat anywhere between 2500 and 5000 audience members, depending on the event. Broadway musicals, awards rites, acting troupes and concerts are constantly presented. The theater also includes a bar and patrons are welcome to enjoy a libation during all performances.

The Pearl

Found inside the Palms Casino Resort The Pearl is a space designed for superior acoustics. The theater is one of the more recent concert halls in Las Vegas and subsequently it takes full advantage of the most recent innovations in sound engineering. Seeing a massive concert here is a must.

Le Reve Theater

Visitors to The Wynn are familiar with the resort's paramount opulence. The Le Reve Theater is not an exception to this rule. Host to one of the most impressive shows on the Las Vegas Strip, the Le Reve Theater features a gorgeous mixed stage and pool where more than 70 performers enact an awe inspiring show nearly every night. This theater in the round has an enormous domed shape that is unlike anything else seen in the city. Every seat is a great seat in a theater where no audience member is placed at more than 42 feet from the stage.

The Smith Center

Not located on the Strip, but an one of a kind attraction nonetheless, the Smith Center is home to touring Broadway productions, the ballet, the symphony and countless theater groups. The center-piece is Reynolds Hall. It features 2050 seats and clear sightlines from nearly any seat. An orchestra pit sufficiently big to accommodate 100 musicians makes this the ideal place to watch any performance that's accompanied by live music.

Artemus W. Ham Concert Hall

Concert halls in Las Vegas don't come any better than this. Found on the UNLV campus the improved acoustics of this purpose-built facility offer the strongest opportunity for hearing onstage music in the city. Classical music is the most typical offering, but like other theaters in Las Vegas the productions here are varied and entertaining.

The Joint

Las Vegas theaters are nothing if not flexible and this locale at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is frequently home to today's largest rock music acts while also catering to the sounds of rock 'n roll history. This is one theater that is built to rock and audience members are always assured a wild time.
