Something I'm seeing with dog owners today is that they are buying the chihuahua clothes that are the more flashy, fashion chihuahua apparel a lot more now than they are the more practical, functional, useful chihuahua fashion that used to be all chihuahua owners would talk about and buy for their little puppies. Talking with the various chihuahua shop owners has revealed this to me, and it's a trend, they say, they don't see changing any time soon.

With every movie known to man showcasing little chihuahua dressed up in the latest chihuahua fashion and accessories, these little socks for dogs are poised to sell even better. Yes, the chihuahua hoodies and sweaters and the little dog jackets are still being bought by small dog owners who want to keep their chihuahuas comfortable, but the flashy, fashion-forward, diva-esque chihuahua fashion is killing at the moment, mopping the floor with these more practical dog clothes in terms of popularity, right now!

And I see this trend playing out in myself as well, when I visit the chihuahua clothes stores: I spend about four times as long browsing the dressy chihuahua fashion and the chihuahua accessories as I do the more practical chihuahua dog clothes. Now is this because I'm becoming a more shallow chihuahua shopper, or is it just because these more fashionable chihuahua outfits are getting THAT good, that they're pulling me in?

I think it's the latter; that fashionable chihuahua shirts are outdoing the warm chihuahua coats because people have more fun with them and they're less boring. And all people, chihuahua owners included, just want to have fun with their little chihuahua dogs. It's not rocket science!
